What a day this has been. A year ago today my mom went to heaven. (that's still hard to say or see in writing) Anyways we started out the day by going to nana's grave and talking to her. Lauren was smiling and talking about all the fun things we did with her. I wish adults could think like that instead of grieving like we do. Then after preschool we got some pink and green balloons. (b/c green was my mom's favorite color, and pink is lauren's favorite.)Lauren wrote a note to nana and then we sent the balloons up into the sky to nana in heaven. It was a great way to remember her. And there was possibly something wonderful that happened today. That can only be explained by my mom watching over us and having a hand in it. More on that to come tomorrow. But I definitely felt my mom here with me today.
