So today she said cupcake!! Every word she says we say yayyyyy and clapp and jump up and down and are so excited. So of course I had to make her some cupcakes for saying it. Oh and she also says chocolate and donut. At least she knows the important words.

If you've been around kaylie you know she doesn't talk much. She is sweet, adorable, laughs, and will make anyone smile. But she only has a few words. She goes to speech once a week and has been since the beginning of the summer. They have called it speech apraxia. They said for some reason her brain has a hard time telling her mouth how to make certain sounds. They said she will be fine but right now it is a lot of work for her to say words. She will probably just start talking in full sentences when she does. She got her first tooth at 17 months with a mouthful right behind it, and walked at 19 months and just walked right across the room like she'd been walking for ever. So I guess her speech will be no different. Some people have asked me why she doesn't say much and I know others have wondered so I thought I'd give a little update. She will be fine she will just talk on her own time. And she started preschool last week so that will help a ton.
So today she said cupcake!! Every word she says we say yayyyyy and clapp and jump up and down and are so excited. So of course I had to make her some cupcakes for saying it. Oh and she also says chocolate and donut. At least she knows the important words.
